* Free admission criteria public health
The flu vaccination is recommended and free for those most at risk of developing complications:
Children 6 months to 17 years old with chronic diseases ( vaccination possible from 2 years in pharmacy);
Adults with certain chronic diseases (including pregnant women, whatever the stage of their pregnancy);
Pregnant women in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters of their pregnancy;
People aged 75 and over;
Residents of all ages in residential and long-term care centers as well as intermediate resources.
In order to reduce the risk of contamination, vaccination is also offered free of charge:
To relatives who live under the same roof as a child under 6 months old or a person at high risk of hospitalization or death, as well as their natural caregivers;
To healthcare workers.
Vaccination is also free for people following :
children from 6 to 23 healthy months ( vaccination not offered in pharmacy contact CLSC )
people aged 60 to 74 healthy years.
